Question by : Who would win? Nebraska Cornhuskers or U of I (university of Illinois) Illini?
I lived in Illinois for 17 years. My dad graduated from U of I, both my grandpa’s worked there. So naturally, I’m an Illini fan all the way! I moved to Omaha, Nebraska about 2 years ago though and naturally everyone here is a Cornhuskers fan. I don’t want a bias or favoritism involved here.By using knowledge and insight to determine, who would win in a game. Illini or Cournhuskers?

Nebraska has more history, the won championships before, I think if they played right now Nebraska would win tino martinez is good but I don’t think they would win by alor for example maybe 24 to 20

Nebraska would be more likely to win.
Football players are rarely legitimate students, and few of them are enrolled in regular fields of study, or they drop out right after their last football game. Nebraska is the least demanding university in the Big Ten, and it was recentl;y kicked out of Association of American Universities because it is just not up to par with national research universities.
Both institutions recruit jocks promiscuously, and there are ongoing scandals about their “student athletes.” But UIUC does have some minimum academic and personal standards, so it may not have the same quality of football players.
