Nebraska would be more likely to win.

Football players are rarely legitimate students, and few of them are enrolled in regular fields of study, or they drop out right after their last football game. Nebraska is the least demanding university in the Big Ten, and it was recentl;y kicked out of Association of American Universities because it is just not up to par with national research universities.

Both institutions recruit jocks promiscuously, and there are ongoing scandals about their “student athletes.” But UIUC does have some minimum academic and personal standards, so it may not have the same quality of football players.

iowa both good teams not great but iowa is on the verge of being great again as they once were when they had drew tate and brad banks at qb. While nebraska as a longer way to go to be great again. Plus iowa just has a better roster.

I think it would be a great game, but I give the edge to Iowa. They return almost everyone from a team that was pretty good last season. They lost 4 games last season, but it was by a total of about 12 points. Their one loss is a great running back, but it seems they have a couple good ones coming in to take his place.

Lol.. yeah.. it’s quite humorous.

It may be a bit over the top, but it’s based in truth so that’s the source of the humor.

I’m just hoping that whichever South team plays them in the Big 12 Championship game gives them a good butt whooping and sends them off crying to the Big 10.

@ the LSU fan… Texas can hang their hats on humbling Nebraska when they were undefeated.

Congrats to A&M for sending Nebraska to the Big Overrated with another loss.

At least the Texas teams gave Nebraska some parting gifts before they left the Big12. They did not let them go empty handed. I think that poem is funny and I think the Longhorn fan should recite it to the coach directly. He would be amused. He seems pleasant.
